Camco RV Awning De-Flapper Max is designed to protect the valuable RV awning from costly rips and tears while preventing noisy wind flapping. This de-flapper max holds securely with hook-as well as loop fastener straps and is made of durable nylon with UV stabilizers, chemically resistant and rust proof. It is soft and has non-marring grippers that protect the awning fabric. This flapper can be used with screen room in place and is a new, larger version of the original deflapper with wider grippers to keep awnings even more stable in wind or rain.

Made in USA with Chinese parts? Aug 02, 2010
Had an earlier set of these that held up and performed well however, the new versions are junk. I have gone through 2 sets and need another due to the knobs stripping with the needed torque to hold my awning. The latest style simply has a shallow retainer cup for the bolt head and is grossly under designed. I emailed Camco and received no reply so their not a customer oriented company apparently. I'll return this last set and with the new ones retro-fit a knob with captive bolt to eliminate the design flaw. Big hassle and lack of customer service is very dissappointing.

We put these on in a no wind situation just to see how they worked, both broke instantly. Made of cheap plastic. I would not recommend this product.

These MAX "de-flappers" are the best! Don't lose money buying a new awning - enough said!

These De-flappers are a must for your rv . They are much more forgiving than the stiff plastic style I used before.. I was very pleased with the ease of installation as well.. Brian
