Battery Tender Plus Sep 06, 2010 I have a motocycle in storage for more than 6 months and the battery drained down to 5V. I bought this charger (good price, free shipping and it arrived in three days) and used it on my motorcycle. Unlike trickle charger, this charger has a four stage charging that doesn't damage your battery. After 5 days of charging, the battery is brought back to live! It is now showing 12.65V on the meter and I was able to start up my motorcycle again. I am very happy with this charger and I highly recommend this charger to others.
Battery Tender Aug 31, 2010 This battery charger works very well. I used it to maintain charged the battery for a 12 volt battery for my automobile during 3-4 months and performance has been excelent.
Works great! Aug 30, 2010 I am retired and drive infrequently. When I do drive, I make several very short trips so my battery is starting my car several times without getting a good charging. I put this on my battery every week or so and the battery is always fully charged. It takes about 24 hours to restore my battery to full charge. This is perfect for me. It works great! The seller shipped it promptly. I could not be more satisfied.
Very good if your battery has some life left Aug 27, 2010 This tender is great: it is small, it is easy to connect, and it works. Though it may take a day and a half or so to charge a very low battery. There are two problems to beware of: 1) It really won't work if your battery is fully drained or close to dead. It will just sit there, flashing its red light at you. You have to jump the battery and bring its voltage up a little before the tender will provide it with any charge. (There are some portable jump starters on Amazon that do a fine job if your car, like ours, is in a position in the garage to which it is tough to get typical starter cables.) 2) The instructions on where to attach the cables are plain old wrong. Attach the cables as directed and you'll get the dread alternating red and green flashing lights, indicating that you have a faulty hookup. Instead, just connect the red cable clip to the positive terminal of your car battery and the black one to the negative terminal, and all will be well.
This thing is Perfect Aug 26, 2010 Over the past 10 or 15 years we've tried All Kinds of battery (Keep It Charged To It's Fullest) devices.
There is no need to mention the other 4 or 5 chargers that we've purchased but....
There IS a need to mention the Battery Tender Charger. This little thing works perfectly! I've had one connected to a Mighty Mule gate opener for years and years now and the battery remains Fully Charged without Overcharging!
So I'm ordering a couple more to keep the battery in my old truck (which I don't run often) and my tractor (that doesn't work much in the winter).
Believe me when I tell you that I've tried ALL KINDS of battery charger/maintainers in the past and NONE of them work as well as the little Battery Tender.
Fantastic Product!
